I can't help it...

This song makes me want to strut my shit down a runway or take a twirl around a pole or something. God damn you, Fall Out Boy.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Finally, the company I work for is doing something I can back. on TwitPic

For those of you who don't know, I am a big supporter of Product (RED). This year, Starbucks has signed a multi-year contract with the organization, and it launches tomorrow - Black Friday. Which Starbucks has renamed to (RED) Friday. Corny, but possibly still effective. Rumor is, they changed the date and launched the program today.

Basically, for the entire duration of our Winter Holiday season (I believe it ends around the beginning of January), any Holiday drink (Espresso Truffle, Gingersnap Latte, or Peppermint Mocha Twist) purchased from Starbucks automatically earns a five cent donation toward (RED) and the Global Fund to fight AIDS. It may not seem like a lot, but considering we sell Hundreds of those particular drinks a day - it adds up. After the Holiday Season, it will expand to our other drinks. We don't know which yet.

More importantly, on World AIDS Day - which is December 1st, so write it down - every drink you buy from Starbucks will earn a five cent donation. So drink Starbucks on December 1st!

I know this seems totally corny, that I'm posting this all over my journal this way for some company I work for, but (RED) is something I really support, so excuse me for my momentary rant.

For more information on Product (RED), go here: joinred.com

And for more information on Starbucks + (RED), check out red.starbucks,com.

Spread the word and buy those drinks, seriously.

My daughter is becoming an internet celebrity...

...and my biggest regret, is that I was unable to brush her hair.

Die Romantic or Vampiric Hipster? I can't tell which is more amusing.

Last night was amazing and ridiculous all rolled into one. My baby brother turned 20 which means he's no longer a teen. We celebrated by getting shit-faced together, compliments of the venue we work for, Bronx Underground and their new Friday Night Dance Party called Revolution! which is like a little piece of the Lower East Side in the South Bronx.

The reason we were at the venue instead of somewhere else drinking (aside from free drinks, of course), was because wiL Francis of Aiden was hanging, doing a DJ set, and then performing with his new side project, William Control. He is an awesomely nice guy, even after I yelled at him. And while his music was kind of lol-worthy, it was pretty danceable. I'm down with that.

In closing, we had a pretty good time. Hello, world. How are you?
